This year, SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival  has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and The Florida Dream Center to empower children from South St Pete through art, at the Child’s Park Rec Center. This partnership will reveal a beautiful mural co-created by local artists Derek Donnelly & Chad Mize, working directly with Fairmont Park Elementry. Children and their Bigs, will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to create an artistic legacy for their community.

“Dream Big. Be Big.” will be the theme/message that is inspired by the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, as well as The Florida Dream Center.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.
